Choosing a school in India

Choosing the top school in the country for your kid can be a tough affair. There are a lot of factors that one must consider: the fees, distance from the school, the other families who send their kids to the school, and so on.

Hence, this blog will help you choose a school for your kid. Let’s begin!
If you are a working couple or a rich family, there is an entirely different set of options for you to choose from as compared to middle class families. International schools open up as an option if you can afford them. They give your kids better exposure to the remaining world through exchange programmes and allow them to learn foreign languages. They also don’t support rote learning and the teachers are trained to ask questions to the kids to enable them to learn.

However, given the right school, even a CBSE or ICSE school can turn out to be a good choice if it is one which has experience in the field of education. In fact, everything narrows down to the teachers and at the end of the day, even the student. Even parents, for that matter.

The locality in which the school is situated used to be a major factor several years ago. In fact, parents used to blindly choose the nearest school for their kid. However now most parents are happy to pay extra for transport if it ensures good schooling for their kids.

Even the best school India has to offer is bound to have some shortcomings. It is impossible to ascertain what a school may or may not bring out in your child, and whether or not the school was behind the success or the failure of your kid. At the end of the day, the results of choosing a good school will only be revealed several years later.
