The question of finding a new school has haunted every parent. Education being one of most important aspects of life and school being an establishment that provides it, becomes a priority for the parents, who want nothing but the best for their kids. The reason can be anything. From your kids not liking the present school to you having to move to a different city or state or country for that matter.  

But this old school problem comprised of doubts and dilemma can be solved if you pay attention to a few things. The reason most parents find finding a school such a struggle is not because there are not enough but there are just too many. Every other school that you find will claim to be the best school in Mumbai or Delhi, or Kolkata. But how do you know if they really are what they claim to be?

The best way to find out is to go right to the school and see everything for yourself. If the school is close by, then make a visit to it before any prior research. This will enable you to get an idea about the school without any prejudice. If it suits you, talk to a few parents and teachers if you can and see how they respond.

If you are looking for a school in a place you are not aware about, then google for top schools in India. Go through each of their websites. Make a checklist before the research to ensure better circle down to one school or eliminate as many as possible.

The ability and interests of your kid should be the major focus while selecting a school. Because the objective is their academic and personal growth, which are mostly shaped in schools. Ask your kid if they are old enough to put forth a worthy insight but in the end go with your own gut.
